From the front, PD810 is beautifully restrained: smooth black neoprene, minimal detailing and a clean peep-toe silhouette. Turn the shoe around and the mood changes completely. A textured black glitter heel panel catches the light behind the ankle, creating just enough contrast to make the shoe feel special without turning it into an all-over sparkle style.

The feature that really defines PD810 is its flexible neoprene upper. Rather than constructing the shoe from multiple narrow straps, PortDance uses a soft, close-fitting upper that wraps across the front and sides of the foot. It creates a smoother, more covered silhouette while allowing the material to adapt naturally as the foot moves.
The open toe keeps the front of the shoe appropriate for expressive Latin footwork, while the cut-away sides prevent the more substantial upper from feeling restrictive. Around the back, a glitter-covered heel panel adds structure and creates the shoe's signature contrast.
A rear zipper keeps entry beautifully simple - particularly useful on a close-fitting neoprene shoe, while the cushioned interior is designed to make PD810 comfortable enough for longer dance sessions.
Underfoot, a traditional suede dance sole provides the controlled movement required for turns and pivots. The elegant 70mm heel adds height and lengthens the leg line without pushing the shoe into an extreme heel profile.

We love that PortDance didn't cover the entire shoe in glitter. From the front, PD810 is almost minimalist; from behind, the glitter heel panel suddenly catches the light. It makes the shoe much more interesting in motion.
PD805 PRO or PD810?
They're surprisingly different. Choose PD805 PRO for dramatic lacing, cut-outs and statement styling. Choose PD810 when you want the same elevated 70mm territory with a softer, cleaner and more streamlined feel.
Dance World Fit Advice
Overall Fit
PD810 is designed to feel close to the foot. The neoprene should sit smoothly across the upper rather than hanging loosely or creating excess material.
Neoprene Feel
Expect a snug, glove-like sensation when first worn. The flexible upper adapts naturally to the shape of the foot and softens slightly through wear.
Open-Toe Position
The toes should sit comfortably towards the front of the sole without being forced backwards or extending excessively beyond the edge.
PD810 Fit Note
The current fit guidance indicates that PD810 runs true to size for most dancers. If you fall between sizes or prefer additional room through the toes, consider the half size above.
