'Ten Ten' Painted Small Bowl

I am a Ten Ten Painted Small Bowl. Some paint objects, some paint on objects and some are painted objects that hold objects.

Curator's Notes

‘Ten Ten’ in Japanese translates to ‘dab dab’ relating to the hand-painted dabs of white that playfully pattern these factory zoomer works. A great surface for serving brightly colored desserts and snacks. They add such an artful touch to table settings. The pieces are mouth-blown, hand-painted with white glass enamel, then re-fired to create a permanent pattern that won’t scratch off or wash away. This pattern is also sometimes known as the “Snow Snow” pattern.
